£650m housing upgrade framework set for bidding process

A £650m repair and maintenance framework is called on for bids by the regional procurement body Efficiency North that covers the North West and East Midlands regions. The works include roofing, electrical installation and gas servicing and maintenance.

These next-gen framework duties will start after EN:Procure shortlist experienced and qualified contractors from the bidding. This will also include a 32-lot framework for social housing landlords.

North West and East Midlands regions comprising different framework lots

  • Windows and doors (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Kitchen and bathroom installations (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Heating, plumbing and ventilation (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Electrical installation works (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • General building works and repairs (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Roofing (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Whole house internal & external Installation (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Gas servicing and maintenance
  • Electrical inspection, testing and remedial repairs
  • Brickwork, masonry works
  • Paint and pre-paint repair works
  • Voids Refurbishment Works
  • Voids clean and clear monitor and secure
  • Environmental and estate improvement works
  • Commercial Heating Installation Works (East Midlands & North West)
  • External Works to High Rise
  • External wall insulation.

This four year framework is called on as the firms are eligible to complete prequalification documents before 12 February.
