All set for a first ‘rubber road’ in London

Tower Hamlets becomes the first borough in London to make a road created part of the old recycled tyres. Tower Hamlets Council worked with Tarmac for the approval of new form of roads that uses rubber crumb from waste tyres which mixes into the asphalt. Work has recently begun on Canrobert Street in Bethnal green where one hundred recycled tyres were mixed into a brand new paved surface arranged by council contractors JB Riney.
