Construction consultant Arup is in discussions with its workforce in UK to axe around 350 jobs in the coming month. The idea to streamline the business to better meet the post-coronavirus market will see the UK staff & workforce reduced down by around 5%. Arup conveyed that like many of its clients, Coronavirus had crystallised the need to review its business amid the anticipated forward workload. Hence Arup has taken this major decision to reshape its business and the decision has not been taken easily and also conveyed that they will maintain high standards in delivering quality projects.
