Under a £100 million package, the first phase of a new advanced manufacturing and technology community will be set up at Catalyst Bicester. This project in Oxfordshire will get on the start after infrastructure and enabling works are done.
David Lloyd Health and Racquets club is also a part of the project. Catalyst Bicester will total 300,000 sq ft (27,870 sq m) and will provide workspace for up to 1,750 new jobs, after the completion.
The use of buildings is expected to start from early 2022 with the first four technology buildings that will range in size from 10,000 sq ft to 22,000 sq ft and will be ready for businesses. The sale of land to David Lloyd was completed.
The construction of the new Health and Racquets Club that includes a gym, racquet courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, café and restaurant is expected to start in summer 2021. Catalyst Bicester is located just off the A41 adjacent to the Bicester Avenue retail centre.
