Transport for London chiefs is planning to finally open the Crossrail in the final quarter of 2021. The new delay is causing nearly three years behind the original planned opening of December 2018 for the scheme. A board meeting is held on Thursday for Crossrail bosses are holding when accurate details about the opening dates will be confirmed. TfL Commissioner Mike Brown has stated that the transport body is looking for a date of between September and December 2021.
