The Carmoor Road development will deliver 172 student bedrooms in a mix of studio and cluster apartments, within walking distance of the University of Manchester and the wider Oxford Road Corridor.
Once complete, the scheme will be operated by Host Student Housing, part of Tiger Developments’ student accommodation platform.
Completion is targeted for the 2027/28 academic year.
Designed by Lechler Hayes Architects, the development will comprise two interconnected buildings ranging from three to six storeys. Plans include a range of shared amenities, landscaped outdoor areas and public realm improvements, supporting the ongoing regeneration of Ardwick.
