The latest contract awards support HG Construction’s continued expansion across the UK, with the contractor now delivering major projects in more than 10 cities and towns, including Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, London and Cardiff.
The Cardiff development at Longcross Court will transform a prominent, sustainably located city-centre site into a 17-storey purpose-built student accommodation scheme offering high-quality living space for students.
The Loughborough project will regenerate a derelict brownfield site adjacent to the Grand Union Canal Basin, delivering an eight-storey purpose-built student accommodation development with modern amenities, landscaped courtyards and attractive garden spaces.
Adam Quinn, Chief Executive Officer, HG Construction, said: “Securing these schemes with Fusion represents an exciting step for HG as we continue to grow our presence across the UK. Our expansion is built on strong collaboration with innovative partners like Fusion, who share in our ambition to create exceptional living spaces and deliver long-lasting benefits for the local community.”
Paul Miles, Group Construction Director, Fusion Group, added: “We recognise the strength HG Construction brings to complex student living schemes, and that confidence makes them a natural partner for these two important developments.
“Cardiff and Loughborough are exciting opportunities to transform underused sites into high-quality living environments, with a strong focus on placemaking, community impact and long-term value.”
