Kier succeeds £8.6m Hampshire hospital transformation works

Kier to deliver £66m Twickenham sewage works upgrade

Kier is set to start the works to change an old hospital in the New Forest area in Hampshire. NHS Property Services has appointed Kier to redevelop Hythe and Dibden War Memorial Hospital, which is a £8.6m project.

Kier will start demolishing the existing hospital building and construct a two-storey 1,664 m² replacement. The new facility will have a GP surgery and outpatient services, including audiology, physiotherapy, and gynaecology.

The new facility will also provide dentistry for those in need. Kier was awarded the contract through the Southern Construction Framework (SCF). Alongside, the work is expected to be complete in spring 2022.
