Mace and Dragados to work for £1.3bn HS2 Euston station

Mace Dragados succeeds HS2 Birmingham Curzon Street station works

The station construction partners Mace and Dragados will jointly take on the Hs2 Euston station terminus site works. The £1.3bn main works contract will kick-off to deliver the station works including platforms, links to London underground, concourse, and other rail works.

New welfare accommodation along with social distance procedures are being implemented due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. Large scale excavations and substructure works will start from the next year, while basement piling works for the basement will begin well in advance.

Suppliers will be assigned for over the next two years and this will be covered under a budget of £400m. The team of suppliers will work for water treatment systems, lifts and escalator systems. The relevant opportunities will be published on CompeteFor web portal.

It is expected to see approximately 3,000 people working on the construction of Euston station, when works are at its peak.
