The UK’s first vaccine development and manufacturing centre construction work has started ahead of its original schedule. The main contractor of Vaccines Manufacturing and Innovation Centre (VMIC) at Harwell in Oxfordshire is Glencar Construction. The fast paced construction schedule will target to see 75,000 sq ft facility to be opened for development & manufacturing work by 2021, which is one year ahead of its original schedule. The Ground works are already in process at the site since one month, currently focussing on clearing the site and preparing it for the construction and steelwork.
