The building contractor P F Burridge & Sons based in Newcastle broke into administration which forced the loss of 105 jobs. The family-owned firm provides construction and building maintenance services to social housing and commercial clients.
The firm was founded in 1967 and also had an office in Wakefield. It undertook works from minor maintenance through to projects valued up to £5m. The company accounts file reveals revenue of £15.5m when it had the business through the whole of last year.
