John Holland Seymour Whyte Aecom Group (HSA Group) won the £255m design & build contract for Bruce Highway. The project will duplicate & upgrade 10.5km of the Bruce Highway which includes relocating 4.7km of the North Coast rail line. Michael McCormack(Federal minister for infrastructure, transport, and regional development) said that the project would comfortably improve safety on the busy 2-lane section of the Bruce Highway between Brisbane & Cairns.
