Osborne hired a new Group Chief Executive Mark Holland

Osborne officially announced the appointment of Mark Hoyland as Group Chief Executive. Hoyland, who has been serving as Group Chief Executive of top housing provider Orbit since 2017, will join the company in the first quarter of 2019. Before that, Hoy served as Chief Executive of CityWest Homes and Managing Director of Balfour Beatty Engineering Services. He began his work with Wimpey Construction. Since Andy Steele, the former CEO of the Osborne Group, resigned, Dave Smith has served as Interim Group CEO.

Andrew Osborne, Chairman of Osborne, said: “Mark’s extensive experience, love of the customer, and commitment to the built environment enrich the Osborne vision. He will guide the group as group chief executive and expand our strategic emphasis on sustainability, energy-efficient design, and development. Dave Smith’s position as Interim Group Chief Executive will end with Mark’s appointment in the first quarter of 2023.”

Hoyland added: “ I’m pleased to work for Osborne. A group with a long history, a solid reputation, a devotion to the customer, and deeply ingrained principles. Osborne will have a great opportunity if it can successfully expand its divisions. I’m excited to work with the team to create a market-leading company.”
