An ice skating centre worth £30m is on cards in London’s Lee Valley. The plan is to replace the 34 years old Lee Valley Ice Centre and build two Olympic size rinks. Walthamstow borough council has given go-ahead for this proposal, and the project includes gym and exercise studio. The construction work is expected to be started by spring 2021. The proposed building plan is having a footprint of 80,000 sq ft and 10.5m height.
