TfL's Oval housing scheme to go ahead

Approval has been gained for a new 139 rental homes construction scheme. The project plan also includes 30 thousand sq. ft. of light industrial workspace in north Lambeth. The homes development in Montford Place in Kennington has been designed by architect Hawkins Brown for Connected Living London (CLL).

This project taken up by the Oval gasholders comes with a partnership between private landlord Grainger and Transport for London (TfL). The Northern Line Extension project is currently using the site as a construction yard. The housing, of which 40% is to be designated affordable, comes with a central mews street between the two buildings.
