The Fairham scheme costing £800m is being developed by Clowes Developments in partnership with Homes England. Winvic has won the first phase of £100m planned infrastructure works. The successfully gained project will create a major new neighborhood for Nottingham.
Winvic based out of Northampton is starting enabling and groundworks this month to deliver highway, utility infrastructure, and drainage. The works will be carried out mainly focusing around Nottingham Road to allow wider construction.
As the works progress into 2021, the firm will launch the first phase of the £100m of infrastructure investment due for the 600-acre Fairham development. The planning permission was awarded during the start of 2018.
Under the Nottingham housing scheme, up to 3,000 new homes, 1m sq ft of commercial space and a neighborhood centre, health and schools, and a community will be developed. 2021 is the expected timeframe during which the first housing sites would come forward.
