The winners are revealed for the new YORbuild major work deal for the next four years to deliver £1.5bn of capital projects. The framework of the project is divide into two lots, one is £10m-£30m projects and the other is £30m plus projects.
The lot 2 projects are awarded to six contractors, the estimated worth for the next four years is £900m, whereas eight contractors to share lot 1 and the estimated worth is around £600m.
There are few contractors who have won place in both the lots, they are BAM, Kier, Interserve, Galliford Try, Morgan Sindall and Wates.
The framework is expected to run until April 2024 with an option to two-year further extension.
