The City of London Corporation has given permission for the redevelopment plan of City Place House (also known as 2 Aldermanbury Square). This allows Great Portland Estates to start working on this 320,500 sq ft redevelopment for one of its blocks in the Square Mile.
Architects Allies & Morrison have designed the plan to construct a new 13-storey office-led building in the assigned area. The existing City Place House is a 10-storey building with 176,600 sq ft of office space. The probable start for the project is in January 2022.
