A £23m plasterboard factory in Newport will be designed and built by Knights Brown and the factory is being set up by Associated British Ports (ABP) on vacant land by Newport’s South Dock.
April 2021 is set to be the start date for construction of the new factory that will be delivered by Bridgend-based contractor Knights Brown. ABP revealed that the money for the project has come from investors in mainland Europe, along with £750,000 from the Welsh government.
