Developer Great Marlborough Estates is going through to develop flats after it has bought an old office block from Lendlease in West London. Empire House, known to be a vacant block overlooks Chiswick High Road and will be revamped to provide 137 homes after all the extension works.

The replacement project was the biggest deal ever since the start of the coronavirus pandemic and the talks went on during which later promoted for the largest residential transactions. The deal includes 66 in the block, 67 apartments and four town houses on adjacent land. Great Marlborough Estates will create all these structures.

Each home will benefit from private outdoor space in the form of either a balcony or garden. The move comes after the serious issue of coronavirus that laid a platform to leave the public into an attitude of having some individual space. Generous amenity space will include roof terraces and a new facade. At ground level, 9,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space will be created.
