He is joined on the honours list by engineering stalwart Faith Wainwright, who also received a CBE in recognition of her distinguished career at Arup.
Architects Julian Harrap and Eric Parry were each honoured with CBEs for their enduring contributions to design and heritage architecture.
Jo Bamford, chairman of clean energy firm HydraB Power and heir to the JCB empire, was also named a CBE for his pivotal role in advancing the hydrogen economy.
In the realm of government infrastructure, former Infrastructure and Projects Authority chief Nick Smallwood received a CBE for his services to infrastructure and project delivery. His work included overseeing major government construction schemes and setting performance benchmarks across Whitehall.
Meanwhile, Gareth Stapleton, founding partner of RiSE International, was awarded an OBE for his services to architecture and project and construction management.
