Galldris Civils Contractor Transitions to Employee Ownership

Donal Gallagher and Sean O’Driscoll, who founded Galldris in 1998, will continue to be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. Reports Contract Journal

In a statement, they said: “From our clients’ and stakeholders’ perspective, it is very much business as usual.”

Galldris noted that the transition “will help ensure sustainable growth and adaptability in an ever-evolving industry.”

The company added: “The establishment of the Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) enables employees to have a meaningful stake in the company’s success, fostering a culture of ownership and collective responsibility.

“This step reflects Galldris’ core values of collaboration, innovation, and commitment to quality, empowering the workforce to play an active role in shaping the company’s future and driving continued growth.”

According to its latest financial results for the year ending March 2024, Galldris delivered a robust pre-tax profit of £21m on revenue of £125m.
