Multiplex will start the works related to construction of the Glasgow office at Argyle Street. This £140m office scheme will be laid on a demolished existing buildings site. The firm will construct Grade A office space with 13-storeys and summer 2022 is the expected completion date of this project.
Demolition works were completed in December 2019. Now the ground preparations are underway and in accordance with Scottish Government guidance. Osborne+Co which is the property and investment firm confirmed the appointment on its 270,000 sq ft development. A local architect Cooper Cromar has designed the site layout.
All the construction works including integrated fit-out works and the occupier’s specification will be handled by Multiplex. It was part of HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank developments in Dubai. They were built on an incredibly high standard, and so the significant contract of Glasgow office was assigned to Multiplex.
