Morgan Sindall hires former Skanska finance director

Demonstrating careful succession planning, Morgan Sindall announced today that its Chief Financial Officer Steve Crummett has informed the Board of his intention to retire on December 31, 2024, and has found a successor, reports Contract Journal.

Kelly Gangotra worked for Skanska for 10 years. She joined Skanska in 2012 as CFO (Operations) and was appointed CFO in 2016. In June 2022, she left Skanska to join safety equipment manufacturer Halma as CFO of the healthcare division.

He is expected to join Morgan Sindall, replacing Steve Crummett sometime in the third quarter of 2024, with a transition period envisaged.

CEO John Morgan said: “I would like to thank Steve for his exceptional contribution to the Board over the last 10 years. Steve has supported the company through significant growth, helping to shape our strategic direction and ensuring that the company’s financial management has supported the group’s long-term growth over the last decade. “I am delighted that Kelly will join the group in 2024 and look forward to working with her in the coming years.”
