Six key firms—Galliford Try, Graham, Kier, Laing O’Rourke, Lendlease Construction, and Morgan Sindall—form the Strategic Alliance tasked with delivering these works.

This latest agreement builds on last year’s £159m contract awarded to Lendlease for constructing new single living quarters at Beacon Barracks, Stafford.

Defence Estate Optimisation represents the largest estates transformation programme in defence, comprising a complex portfolio of interconnected projects, including construction activities, personnel relocations, and land releases.

At its core, DEO envisions an extensive programme of construction and refurbishment aimed at enhancing single living and service family accommodations, alongside developing operational, educational, and technical facilities.
