Kier to deliver £66m Twickenham sewage works upgrade

Kier to deliver a £66m upgrade to its third-largest sewage treatment works in Isleworth as appointed by Thames Water, outside of Twickenham Stadium.

The contract includes significant modernization and betterments to the existing Mogden facility, including onsite energy generation, improving the capacity of preliminary treatment, and improving the resilience of the sludge & digester streams in preparation for AMP8 works.

Mark Pengelly, group managing director at Kier Infrastructure, stated: “It is a highly complex and specialized project and the team will be working in a live environment, across multiple locations of the site.”
