Godwin submits proposals for Nottingham student tower

Godwin Developments has submitted plans for an £85m waterfront community in Worcester city centre. Proposals are set for Lowesmoor Wharf to completely transform the 3.2-acre site. The new construction area includes 330,000 sq ft of housing, retail space, and office.

The central Worcester site situated off Lowesmoor Terrace currently contains a mix of industrial and warehousing units. Architect Apt has designed the construction site and the proposed scheme features seven buildings containing 271 apartments, 10,000 sq ft of retail and food space, and 30,000 sq ft of office space.

The development director at Godwin Developments, Matt Chandler said: “Our vision is to deliver a lifestyle-led destination that is similar to other standout schemes – such as Gloucester Docks and Eagles Works in Oxford.”
