John Sisk along with developer Osborne+Co has backed a contract in Milton Keynes. Sisk will work along to build a £150m Santander office hub, which is the biggest building contract deal signed since the covid-19 outbreak. Two-and-half year is the expected period for completion of the construction site.
Byrne Bros looks after the works related to £41m piling, reinforced concrete frame and groundworks packages. As per the agreement, Sisk will deliver the project that accomplishes home for 6,000 staff. The project will be an environmentally sustainable building that is designed to achieve BREAM Excellent and WELL ‘Gold’ Certification.
The site includes cycle storage, a fitness centre, and an employee rooftop walking and running track. This construction is a measure of the building’s impact on the health and wellbeing of its occupants. UK South, John Sisk & Son Director, Ajaz Shafi said that this is a landmark project comprising circa 500,000 square foot of ultra-modern office space.
