Construction of the Midland Metropolitan Hospital has been given permission by the government along with £350m of funding for the project. The Treasury has announced today that it has signed-off the hospital build, which has been stalled since the collapse of Carillion. The Treasury said today that completion is now due on April 2022. Balfour Beatty & the trust are in the final stages of agreeing on terms over a contract.
