Avant Homes will soon start the development of 150 homes in Micklefield. This Yorkshire home builder has got planning approval for the £49.3m development from Leeds City Council and is getting ready to start the works.

While naming the development as Radford’s Meadow, it will feature a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes across 24 different house designs. It is being built on a 14-acre site on Micklefield’s Church Lane between Leeds and Pontefract.

The first homes are expected to get ready by this autumn for occupation. However, the whole development is likely to finish in approximately five years. Nearly 15% of the homes have been designated as affordable housing.
