Approximately 15 firms are set to compete to secure their positions on the renewed framework, which serves around a dozen social housing landlords, including Home Group, Thirteen, and Gentoo Homes. Reports Contract Journal
This multi-supplier framework will be utilized to deliver energy efficiency retrofit measures in line with PAS 2035 standards, as well as traditional investment and refurbishment works for both domestic and public buildings.
The framework is undergoing significant expansion, introducing 9 regional lots for England and one for Wales. The goal is to appoint up to eight firms per region, with the five-year term of the framework beginning in January 2025.It is structured to support projects funded by the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy’s Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, as well as ECO4 initiatives.
