Construction Industry professionals urges the Scottish Government to end the lockdown restrictions as soon as possible and re-open all the construction sites. All the Non-essential sites have been shut as per the instructions given Scotland government due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The construction professionals like Chartered Institute of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Building (CIOB) and the Royal Incorporation of Architects Scotland (RIAS) wrote a letter to the Minister for Local Government stating the government to take an immediate action to resume the works to avoid the detrimental impact on construction sector and the economy.
