English water companies have announced that they have planned to plant 11 million trees in order to improve the environmental conditions and also to achieve a carbon-neutral water industry by 2030. The trees are to be planted in nearly 6,000+ hectares of land across England to restore the original woodland & improve natural habitats. Some amount of the land is owned by Water companies themselves, the rest of the land to be provided by local authorities, trusts and the RSPB.
