Domis to start Gary Neville’s £400m landmark tower

Neville announced the start of the project for the recognisable tower. He mentioned that the improvement of a sparsely populated area of the city would be the product of 15 years of laborious work. Relentless Developments is bringing the mixed-use project to market in collaboration with investors KKR, Salboy, and Manchester City Council. The project is broken up into two independent phases; the first is called No.1 Saint Michael’s and consists of nine stories of offices built by Bowmer & Kirkland. This phase’s construction got underway in January 2022, reports Contract Journal.

The main building, known as N02, is a 41-story tower that will include 217 sumptuous apartments in addition to a 162-bed, 5-Star international hotel brand.

Neville, director of Relentless Developments, said, “This is an excellent plan that has been in the works for at least 15 years, and we believe it to be the city’s most environmentally friendly commercial space. We’ve worked hard to create a development that stands out for its innovative style, rich heritage, and advantageous location connecting the city’s business district with the historic city centre. The contract we struck with two of the most reputable law firms in the world and the new headline rent we set when we started serving as evidence of such. Progress is accelerating as No. 1 draws to a close, and we’re aiming to provide an excellent No. 2 leisure and residential development.
