£250m construction and refurbishment framework

The University of Glasgow will soon undergo a new £250m construction and refurbishment framework. Under this new framework, Morgan Sindall Construction is one of the construction companies that got a place. The main contractor is the only construction company that secured a place for three lots of the four-year construction frameworks.

The three lots are divided based on price constraints. They are over £3m; between £250,000-£3m; and below £250,000.

Galliford Try, Morgan Sindall, McLaughlin & Harvey, Robertson and Sir Robert McAlpine got places for work over £3m. For capital projects between £250,000 and £3m, Morgan Sindall, Galliford Try, Morris and Spottiswood, Clark Contracts, Graham, Taylor and Fraser all secured places.

Morgan Sindall, Morris and Spottiswood, Clark Contracts, and Taylor and Fraser will also complete refurbishment works. These firms are placed on the framework for work valued at less than £250,000. The £1bn campus redevelopment plans are routed through the framework that will support the university. The next upcoming project is a new £150m school of engineering.
