GMI Construction is picked by the Symphony Group to construct a new warehouse at Barnsley. The contractor will deliver a 332,626 sq ft production warehouse facility for Symphony at its Barnsley headquarters.
The Symphony Group will benefit from store all the related stuff as it’s a privately owned manufacturer of fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture. Architect Garnett Netherwood has designed the new facility along with enhanced FM1 floor slabs.
The construction will be happening alongside Symphony’s existing production plant with a design that mirrors the existing building. The new facility will provide Symphony with more storage and production capacity.
38 weeks is the expected time period for GMI Construction to complete the build, with the facility set to become operational later next year.
