Maccreanor Lavington designed the plans for Zone G, which is located off Redriff Road and spans a portion of the Surrey Quays Leisure Park. There will be five residential buildings, with 42% affordable housing. The new park will span a section of Surrey Quays Leisure Park as well as the former Printworks building’s parking lot. Townshend Architects designed the park, which also includes a café pavilion and an adventure play area, reports Contract Journal

The pavilion structure was created by Peckham-based design firm Feix & Merlin, and internationally renowned Dutch studio Carve created the play area. Supermarket Tesco with underground parking

“The vision for Canada Water is to deliver a new town centre, connected with the local community; a place where everyone living, continuing to work, and studying in the area truly belongs and can access the opportunities that it will generate, sharing in its success,” said Phil Tait, Director of Development for Canada Water at British Land. “Zone G and the park will add to Canada Water’s offerings by bringing new green space for everyone to enjoy as well as residences, businesses, cafes, and other public amenities.”
