Former Kier chief executive Andrew Davies has joined Mitie as a non-executive director.
Davies joined the facilities management and construction services group’s board with immediate effect on 17 August.
He has also joined Mitie’s audit and risk, nomination and remuneration committees.
Davies served as Kier chief executive from April 2019 to October 2025. Before that, he led Wates Group between January 2014 and January 2018.
He previously held senior leadership positions at BAE Systems and served as a non-executive director of defence contractor Chemring Group.
Davies was Chemring’s senior independent director during his tenure from May 2016 to January 2025.
He is currently chair of Southern Water.
Mitie said Davies brings executive leadership experience across infrastructure, construction, defence and regulated sectors.
The company did not disclose further details about the appointment.
