The contractor has been appointed by Hurlington Capital to deliver two blocks at Bollo Yard, close to Acton Town station, following Gateway 2 approval from the Building Safety Regulator.
The development will provide 429 student beds in a 21-storey tower, alongside 95 affordable homes in a separate residential block.
The project has been supported by a £112m development finance package secured by Hurlington Capital and its joint venture partner V-Fund.
Ealing Council has also agreed a £29m deal to acquire all 95 homes, which will be offered at social rent.
HG secured Gateway 2 approval for Block AB within just 22 weeks. The contractor will draw on its in-house piling, crane, M&E and offsite pod businesses to deliver the development.
DMWR Architects is leading the technical design, while KS4 is providing project management, cost consultancy and employer’s agent services.
