Highways England is looking forward to work with the technical services and procurement advice consultants, as it plans over the next five years. By laying the next generation Specialist Professional and Technical Services (SPaTS2) framework, Highways England will deliver the Government’s £27.4bn RIS 2 programme.

Under the new SPaTS2 framework, there are different companies getting tied up to provide services. The technical services will be provided by Amey OW, Costain, Atkins Jacobs JV, Ove Arup, FUTRAN JV (Arcadis, Pell Frischmann, TRL), and WSP UK.

The Procurement Advice group comprises agencies including Arcadis Consulting (UK), Jacobs UK, Ove Arup & Partners, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Rowsell Wright, and Turner & Townsend Contract Services. Highways England will soon call for a tender that replaces the current SPaTS framework to enroute the next five year projects plan.
