McAlpine goes ahead with main works at White City tower

The main construction has started at White City Place on the new eleven storeys Gateway Central building in west London.

As a construction manager for the scheme, Sir Robert McAlpine has partnered with developer Stanhope on behalf of investors Alberta Investment Management Corporation and Mitsui Fudosan.

End of 2022 is the scheduled completion of construction while six floors of the building are pre-let to L’Oréal UK and Ireland. Allies and Morrison have designed the Gateway Central with a total floor space of over 260,000 sq ft.
