Work is expected to begin before the end of the year on a 28,000 sq ft community, health and retail building, alongside six homes, a new vicarage and improvements to roads and parking.
The main building will bring GP services, a dentist, pharmacy and opticians together under one roof, alongside a library, community facilities, a café and Co-op store.
Solihull Council has secured £8m from the West Midlands Combined Authority, with the remaining funding coming from council investment and other sources.
Willmott Dixon completed the first 25 affordable homes under phase one in 2024 and was subsequently appointed to design the second phase of the regeneration.
The wider scheme will replace Kingshurst’s ageing precinct-style shopping centre, while improvements to Kingshurst Park have already been completed.
