The Press Works project will feature 312 build-to-rent homes and 195 co-living residences, strategically positioned directly opposite Sutton train station.Pending approval, construction is set to commence on-site in 2026. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, the project will achieve significant embodied carbon savings and adopt a fabric-first approach to minimize operational emissions. This commitment will establish The Press Works as one of the UK’s most sustainable residential developments, targeting BREEAM Outstanding, Fitwel 3*, and WiredScore Platinum certifications.

Additionally, 35% of the homes will be designated as affordable housing, all of which will be integrated within the build-to-rent offering, making up 43% of this housing segment.

Tom Donnachie, MD of UK Investment at Amro Partners, said: “The embodied carbon re-use will make this one of our most sustainable projects to date and we look forward to working closely with the London Borough of Sutton, local charities and residents to deliver a lasting legacy for the town.”
