The contractor has entered into a PCSA with Delamere Health to prepare the site for a new 32-room residential treatment centre, set to become the UK’s largest investment in addiction rehabilitation.
Demolition of the former fire headquarters is scheduled to begin before Christmas, paving the way for a full construction contract anticipated early next year.
Designed by Anderson Orr, the facility will include a wellness suite, gym, steam room and sauna, meditation areas, and dedicated therapy rooms, all arranged around a series of landscaped courtyards.
Ray O’Sullivan, regional managing director at Caddick Construction Midlands, said the team is collaborating closely with Delamere to develop a cost plan and build programme that will deliver the most significant investment in addiction rehabilitation facilities in the UK.
