Caddick Construction marked a significant return to profitability across all regions, orchestrating a remarkable turnaround from a £4 million loss to a commendable £7.4 million profit as revenue soared by 38%, totaling £318 million in the fiscal year ending August 2023. This impressive performance contributed to the overall success of the developer, rental homes operator, and construction conglomerate, culminating in a £35.5 million profit.
Throughout the year, the construction segment expanded its footprint, establishing new offices in Birmingham and Durham, which played a pivotal role in enhancing its geographical presence.
Paul Dodsworth, Managing Director of Caddick Construction Group, expressed optimism, stating, “We are steadily advancing in diversifying our project portfolio across both public and private sectors through various framework appointments.”
“We are forecasting a turnover for 23/24 of £400m with a forward order book of £704m, which is a testament to our financial strength and our strategy to do business with like-minded customers, delivering exceptional projects and always treating our supply chain fairly.”
