Tarmac-owned contractor Alun Griffiths has won a £70m Portsmouth highways and associated redevelopment works within Portsmouth city centre. On the basis of a framework agreement Griffiths will be appointed that will allow for incremental call-off for the designing and construction works.
The contract is all set to take-off on 14 September and will process for an initial term of 4 years which is extendable to up to 8 years.
Highways construction, public realm improvements and public transport infrastructure are included in the future works.
