Bennett lands £50m later living complex

The new scheme will include 147 modern retirement homes, with the first phase expected to be finished next year and the entire scheme by 2025. The complex is being built on land that was formerly used for strawberry farming, reports Contract Journal.

“The Strawberry Fields site is phenomenal,” stated Howard Nankivell, CEO of Rangeford Villages. “We are determined to do it justice by providing its residents quality homes, facilities, and services.”

“We are delighted to begin work on the Stapleford project for Rangeford,” said Paul McGee, Joint Managing Director of Bennett Construction. This is a signature project for us and our customers in the retirement housing industry. We look forward to providing a very high-quality product in the collaborative approach we bring to all of our projects.”

Strawberry Fields homes will be designed with the requirements of the over-60s in mind, with onsite care and the ability to live freely and confidently.
