Sheffield City Council has decided to start the bid race for a major hotel conversion job of £29m Sheffield hotel conversion plan. An existing Victorian building is to be converted into a Radisson Blu hotel will act as a gateway to the district from the east. The project’s estimated cost is £29m. The project is named as Block A, and the project is broken into two elements, the first includes a 156 bedroom hotel, a rooftop bar and restaurant, flexible banqueting and meeting spaces. The second part includes the refurbishment of an old Odeon building.
