Efficiency North which is the regional procurement body is inviting firms to bid for spots. The bidding is for a £200m new-build framework that covers the East Midlands and North West regions.
EN: Procure is looking for experienced and qualified contractors of all sizes. They can bid for places on the framework designed to deliver affordable schemes for social housing landlords.
Four project-size lots for each region are categorized in the framework as mentioned below:
- Lot 4 includes over 70 homes – £45m
- Lot 3 includes 30 – 85 homes – £25m
- Lot 2 includes 8 – 35 homes – £20m
- Lot 1 includes up to 10 homes – Total value £10m.
This is a four-year deal that will include works such as new build construction and refurbishment, design, site preparation, associated civil engineering, and site remediation. Contractors need to meet the minimum training and employment targets.
EN: Procure has awarded 29 firms spots at the end of last year on its other regional new-build framework for social housing landlords across Yorkshire and Humber. The secured spots on the major schemes are Galliford Try, Bardsley Construction, ENGIE Regeneration, Caddick Construction, United Living (North), and Lovell.
