BoKlok UK which is known to be Skanska and IKEA’s jointly owned modular housing business has signed a deal with affordable housing provider Vivid to deliver homes. 1000 new modular homes will be delivered on sites throughout Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex, and Berkshire.
A joint approach to land, plan and the delivery of new modular homes is signed with the five-year agreement. This allowed achieving outstanding recognition in the Nordics. Site development work will begin in 2021 with mixed tenures delivery.
BoKlok will use its sustainable technologies to reduce energy bills while implementing off-site precision-engineered homes.
